The Model View View-Model is a design pattern aimed at achieving clear separation of concerns between an application’s UI and its underlying logic. MVVM is also the lingua franca of WPF applications and in this session will demonstrate how MVVM helps us build WPF applications ‘the proper way’. We will look at the building blocks of MVVM, how to exploit the data-binding framework and commanding. Finally, we shall see how to build a small MVVM framework from the ground up.
